कुछ लोगों को बखेड़ा खड़ा करने में आनंद आता है। भारत के विदेश राज्य मंत्री जनरल विजय कुमार सिंह भी ऐसे ही लोगों में शुमार हैं। देश में 32 साल बाद हो रहे विश्व हिंदी सम्मलेन से ठीक एक दिन पहले जनरल
साहब के श्रीमुख पर फिर सरस्वती की जगह कोई आसुरी शक्ति विराजमान हो गई और उन्होंने दे डाला एक और विवादित बयान….जी हां, विवादित बयान, जो इनकी आदत में शुमार रहा है।
जनरल वीके सिंह उस टीम के अहम अंग हैं, जो सम्मेलन का काम देख रही है। वे कुछ दिनों से भोपाल में ही डेरा डाले बैठे हैं और उस मीडिया को घूम-घूम कर इंटरव्यू दे रहे हैं…जिसके लिए उन्हें ‘प्रोस्टीट्यूट’ जैसे शब्दों के इस्तेमाल से भी परहेज नही रहा है। जनरल साहब ने हिंदी सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन करने आ रहे प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के आने से एक दिन पहले वो बयान दे दिया, जिसने साहित्य जगत में हलचल मचा दी है। इस आयोजन में आमंत्रित नहीं किए जाने से खफा बैठे कई साहित्य मनीषियों के माथे पर जनरल की बातों से बल पड़ गए हैं। लोग पूछ रहे हैं कि क्या साहित्यकार केवल खाने और दारू पीने ऐसे आयोजनों में आते थे ? आते भी थे तो क्या सरकार उनकी खातिरदारी इसी तरह करती थी ?
बंदूक से निकली गोली लौट कर नहीं आती। इस तथ्य से तो सेना प्रमुख रहे वी के सिंह बखूबी वाकिफ होंगे, लेकिन जुबान से निकली बोली का भी यही अंदाज और अंजाम होता है…ये जानने समझने में उन्हें समय लगता है। फौजी जो ठहरे। फौज में राजनीति का स्थान नहीं होता।आम फौजी राजनीति कर भी नहीं सकता। लेफ्ट, राईट, कदमताल, दाहिने मुड़, तेज चल…से समय मिले तो राजनीति करे। पर विजय कुमार तो विजय कुमार हैं। हिंदी सम्मेलन का समापन करने आ रहे महानायक अमिताभ बच्चन की सिल्वर जुबली फिल्मों में हीरो का नाम यूंही तो नहीं विजय रखा जाता था। इस नाम में दम है। सो जनरल भी दमदारी से बोल बचन कर लेते हैं। ये अलग बात है कि नौसिखुआ राजनेता होने के कारण मिसफायर ज्यादा होता है।
भोपाल से ही पीएचडी कर चुके वी के सिंह तब भी विवाद में थे जब पूरा जीवन नौकरी और कई प्रमोशन लेने के बाद रिटायरमेंट की बेला में उन्हें अपनी असली जन्मतिथि पता चली। शायद कभी जन्मकुंडली बचवाने की जरुरत नहीं पड़ी होगी। विवाद तब भी उनके साथ थे। अब भी हैं। विवाद ही वो वजह हो सकते हैं जिनसे बीजेपी का दिल इन पर आया और फौजी नेता बन गया। जो मन में आए बोलो और बाद में पलट जाओ। नेतागिरी के लिए इससे बड़ा और कौन सा गुण चाहिए ! अतिरिक्त योग्यता अण्णा आंदोलन से मिल गयी। विशेष अहर्ता ये कि जनरल की सरकार जब फौजियों को वन रैंक वन पेंशन पर अड़ रही थी जनरल नींद में थे और उनकी बिटिया पूर्व सैनिकों के साथ धरने पर। यानी राजनीति के सारे गुण सिंह साहब की कुंडली में मौजूद हैं। फिर डर काहे का। बोलिए जो मर्जी हो। दोष दीजिए उस बिरादरी को जिसके दम पर हिंदी सम्मेलन की और खुद की ब्रांडिंग कर रहे हैं। सुर्खियों में बने रहना है…
